unsurpassed protection for natural gas engines. AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils
has a low-ash formula with highly effective rust and corrosion inhibitors. It
circulates quickly to critical engine components for fast, easy cold-weather
engine start-ups and has a very low volatility to remain stable in hot engine
conditions. AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils will not break down like petroleum
Oil because it resists the effects of high temperature oxidation much longer
than petroleum Oil do.

Inhibits Rust and Corrosion
Natural gas engines are unique in that they must often operate in locations where service is infrequent. Many natural gas engines undergo long periods of inactivity. The rust and corrosion inhibitors in AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils provide protection during periods when the engine is not running or running intermittently.
Improves Spark Plug Reliability
AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils is an extremely low-ash Oils, which greatly reduces spark plug fouling and post plugging in 2-cycle natural gas engines and virtually eliminates ring belt deposits in four-cycle natural gas engines. In some four-cycle applications, port cleanings have been reduced four-fold.
Maintains Viscosity
Due to its synthetic formulation, AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils is a true SAE 40 Oils, yet it passes SAE 20W viscosity specifications for low temperature performance without the use of special additives.
Resists Oxidation and Thermal Breakdown
AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils resists the damaging effects of heat, blowby chemicals and oxidation up to ten times longer than do petroleum Oil. AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils neutralizes sludge and acid formation to provide engines with long-lasting performance and reliability.
Performs in Cold Weather
AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils remains fluid in extremely cold temperatures. It resists the low temperature congealing that often occurs in petroleum Oil. AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils ensures instant start-ups, fast Oils circulation and ideal protection under frigid conditions.
Extended Drain Intervals
AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils affords exceptional extended drain intervals when monitored by an Oils analysis program. Periodic Oils analysis should be conducted at the engine manufacturer’s recommended drain intervals. Change the Oils filter at the recommended engine manufacturer’s drain intervals.
MIXING AMSOIL
AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic Natural Gas Engine Oils is compatible with conventional petroleum Oil and other synthetic lubricants; however, mixing AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils with a petroleum Oils will reduce the drain interval of the AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils. Engine Oils additives or after-market products are not recommended for use with AMSOIL Natural Gas Engine Oils.
Note: AMSOIL 20W-40 Synthetic Natural Gas Engine Oils should not be used in automotive engines that have been modified to use propane or natural gas.
