AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush (FLSH)
Features a multi-use (light oil) formulation that dissolves and disperses sludge, varnish and deposits in both engines and automatic transmissions.
Although today's
engine's and transmission are far more efficient than they used to be
petroleum products create tar, sludge, and varnish. As a result these
deposits can rob your engine and transmission of power, decreased fuel mileage, and over time reduce the life of your equipment.
AMSOIL Engine and Transmission flush is a light oil based product with powerful detergents and dispersants that can be easily disposed of with your waste oil making this flush very user friendly. Compatible with both petroleum and synthetic oils, preparing poorly maintained equipment for installation of new oil or for converting your engine/transmission over to AMSOIL Synthetic oil.
In transmissions, you have many clutch plates that can collect deposits. When this occurs the clutch plates, can cause hesitation or erratic shifting. The end result is what is called clutch glazing which reduces the life of the transmission. The same is true in engines the formation of deposits can accelerate wear, causing power loss and increased fuel consumption.
With all the high tech engineering in todays engines and transmissions it only makes sense to keep the internal working parts as clean as possible enabling the clean oil you are installing to do even a better job. I little cleaning can save you potentially hundreds if not thousands in repairs due to plugged oil or transmission components. In the end both your engine and transmission can also run cooler due to improved flow and cooling.
Amsoil engine and transmission flush is very easy to use, just follow the instructions on the bottle.
AMSOIL Engine and Transmission Flush is recommended for diesel or gas engines, and automatic transmissions. Not recommended for CVT transmissions or differentials.
NOTE: It is not recommended to flush transmissions that do not have a removable pan or access to the transmission filter.
